Go ahead and press it and return to your vehicle within 30 seconds of pressing that button. If you have programmed a garage door opener to your mercedes benz and would like to keep it skip this step press the two buttons on the bottom on the rear view mirror.

Now push the programmed button in the car for 2 seconds let go and then repeat it again until the garage door starts to operate. What this does is that it will clear all previously programmed garage door from the memory of your mercedes benz. Some garage door openers may require you to exit the vehicle and push a button on the opener motor. When the light underneath the mirror flashes in green the pairing is complete and you re ready to go.
